Project Overview

1)Since this is a Murabaha contract (buy - nurture - natural harvest - sell), there is no provision for emergency exits for investors. We will purchase the cows and nurture them to ensure dairy production for trading purposes. Therefore, we cannot return your investment amount before the project's closure.

2) Duration of Investment

The total investment amount will be - 97,59,000

This investment will be for 2 Months.

3) Projected ROI(Return of Investment)

The return on investment (ROI) will be 36% annually. In two (2) months, the investor will receive a halal dividend of 6% (excluding service charges).

4) Investment Part

Here, the minimum investment would be 8,000 TK, or investors can invest up to the project limit. Halal dividends will be disbursed every two months.

For example, if someone invests 100,000 TK (one lakh taka), they will receive 136,000 TK, excluding service charges (100,000 TK as the investment part and 36,000 TK as the profit part in a year).

5) Loss Sharing

Grow Up is a Shariah-compliant project, and according to the Murabaha Principle, investors bear no responsibility for any business losses after handing over the liabilities associated with purchasing the cows and nurturing them to ensure dairy production for trading purposes by an agent. Once the milk is handed over to the merchant, any losses incurred thereafter will not be shared by the investors.

6) Service Charge

Grow Up will apply a 5% service charge on investors' profit. It should be noted that all of the mentioned ROI above are provided after excluding this service charge.

7) Contract Conditions

Investors will enter into a Murabaha Agreement (buy - nurture and raise - natural harvest - sell) contract with Grow Up for the Cow Natural Harvest/Dairy Project. The process will involve purchasing the cows and ensuring their nurturing to produce dairy for trading. Investors will initially buy the cows through Grow Up and also oversee their nurturing to ensure dairy production for sale through Grow Up. Acting as an agent for the investors, Grow Up will purchase the cows, assume ownership and risk of asset possession on their behalf, and subsequently sell the produced milk on behalf of the investors.

8) Risk Factor

According to our calculations, although the risk factor is estimated at 6%, Grow Up's team of cow purchase experts, nurturing specialists, and skilled dairy marketers will effectively manage and mitigate these risks as outlined previously. Additionally, in response to investor requests, we also offer an insurance policy to provide further assurance.

9) Payment Delay

Grow Up has conducted an in-house analysis of the projected returns of the business and expects to be able to repay on time, barring any unforeseen risk factors.

10) Security

Grow Up provides the following documents to investors:

- Contract Deed (300 tk Stamp)

- Security cheque

- Money Receipt

- Guarantor

- Copy of Authorized deed

Project About

Introduction

Cow Natural Harvest refers to the practices and products derived from cattle that are produced in an environmentally sustainable manner. This encompasses various aspects of agricultural systems, including the use of cow dung for organic fertilizers, natural pest control using bovine products, and the use of cow-based practices that support soil fertility and enhance crop yields. This holistic approach not only promotes animal welfare but also supports sustainable farming that benefits ecosystems and communities.

Importance of Cow Natural Harvest

  1. Organic Fertilizers: Cow dung is a valuable resource in organic farming, often considered "black gold." It is rich in nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, essential for plant growth. Farmers often use cow dung to create compost or organic manure, improving soil structure, enhancing water retention, and providing essential nutrients to crops. This natural fertilizer reduces the dependency on chemical fertilizers, which can harm the environment.

  2. Soil Restoration: Practices like rotational grazing, which involves moving cows between pastures, can lead to healthier soils. Cows graze on grasses and other plants, which can regenerate quickly. Their manure enriches the soil, promoting biodiversity and microbial activity. This not only improves soil health but also increases carbon sequestration, helping combat climate change.

  3. Natural Pest Control: Cow-based products, such as certain herbal mixtures used in conjunction with cow urine, are gaining popularity as eco-friendly pest control solutions. These mixtures can deter pests without the use of synthetic pesticides, thereby promoting a healthier ecosystem. The natural compounds present in cow urine also contribute to plant health, making crops more resilient to diseases.

  4. Economic Benefits: Farmers who adopt Cow Natural Harvest practices often find that they can reduce input costs while increasing yields. By utilizing cow dung and other natural resources, they can create a self-sustaining agricultural system that supports both their livelihoods and the well-being of the environment.

Practices in Cow Natural Harvest

  • Composting: Farmers collect cow dung, mix it with straw or other organic matter, and allow it to decompose over time to produce rich, organic compost. This compost is used to enrich soil for crops.

  • Rotational Grazing: This practice involves rotating cattle between pastures to prevent overgrazing, allowing grasses to recover and enhancing overall land productivity.

  • Cover Cropping: Integrating legumes or other cover crops with cattle can help fix nitrogen in the soil, improve soil health, and reduce weeds.

  • Utilizing Cow Products: Beyond meat and milk, cow products like dung and urine can be transformed into various eco-friendly solutions, such as organic pesticides, fertilizers, and even biogas for energy.
